Brushing Scam: Get an Unsolicited Temu or Amazon Package?

From coast to coast, unsuspecting citizens are receiving unordered shipments courtesy of shady operators exploiting vulnerabilities within our digital marketplace. These deceitful tactics aim squarely at deceiving both sellers and buyers alike through what authorities term 'brushing scams.'

As per the Better Business Bureau's official warning: "They intend to make it appear that you wrote a glowing online review of their merchandise and that you are a verified buyer of that merchandise. They then post a fake, positive review to improve their products' ratings, which means more sales. The payoff is highly profitable from their perspective."
