A Journalistic Failure?

In a scathing indictment of the mainstream media's failures, veteran journalist Jill Abramson recently penned an opinion editorial for Semafor, excoriating the so-called "Fourth Estate" for deliberately concealing the truth about President Joe Biden's deteriorating cognitive abilities.

As the former Executive Editor of The New York Times between 2011-2014, Abramson pulls no punches in lambasting both the White House and the supposedly esteemed members of the press corp for colluding to keep Americans in the dark about Biden's alarming display during last week's disastrous presidential debate.

"It's clear the best news reporters in Washington have failed in the first duty of journalism: to hold power accountable," Abramson writes bluntly. "Shame on the White House press corps for not [having] pierced the veil of secrecy surrounding the President."
