Actor Nicolas Cage Doubles Down On His Fears About Artificial Intelligence

Hollywood superstar Nicolas Cage recently expressed deep-seated anxiety regarding the increasing presence of artificial intelligence within the entertainment industry. Speaking candidly with The New Yorker magazine, Cage shared his apprehensions concerning the potential misuse of advanced technologies designed to replicate human appearance and performance capabilities.

When questioned about undergoing scanning procedures required for his latest roles, including the forthcoming Spiderman-Noir television series, Cage grew visibly uneasy. “Well, they have to put me in a computer and match my eye color and change — I don’t know. They’re just going to steal my body and do whatever they want with it via digital AI. … God, I hope not AI. I’m terrified of that. I’ve been very vocal about it.”

Furthermore, Cage pondered aloud whether artistic authenticity might eventually become obsolete under the influence of rapidly advancing technological innovations. 

Fortunately, experts suggest that measures exist safeguarding against unauthorized exploitation of celebrity images. Rob Rosenberg, Founder & Principal Attorney at Telluride Legal Strategies, reassured concerned parties stating that agreements reached between studios and talent agencies provide adequate safeguards protecting artist autonomy.
