Russia and Ukraine Engage in a Prisoner Swap

Ukraine and Russia engaged in a prisoner-of-war exchange yesterday, swapping 95 individuals apiece. This marks the 54th such agreement between the nations since Russia's incursion into Ukraine began back in February 2022.

President Volodymyr Zelensky took to social media platform Telegram to announce this latest development, crediting our friends in the United Arab Emirates for brokering these delicate arrangements once more. 

Zelensky declared: "No matter how difficult it may be, we are looking for everyone who may be in captivity. We have to return everyone."

Accompanying photographs showcased emaciated but resilient Ukrainian servicemembers proudly draped in national colors amidst picturesque rural scenery – a testament to human resilience under duress.

Meanwhile, according to official statements from Moscow, repatriated Russian personnel will receive comprehensive care upon arrival in the capital city.
