Manhunt Underway in Arizona for Suspect Who Threatened to Kill Trump Ahead of Rally

A chilling threat against former President Donald Trump has sparked a massive manhunt in Arizona, just hours before he is set to hold a rally in the Copper State.

According to the Cochise County Sheriff’s Office, 66-year-old Ronald Lee Syrvud is on the loose and being sought "as an investigative lead for threats to kill a presidential candidate." Fox News Digital has confirmed that the "presidential candidate" in question is indeed Trump.

Syrvud's disturbing threat comes on the heels of last month's assassination attempt against the Republican presidential nominee during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. That harrowing incident sent shockwaves across the nation and raised serious concerns about the safety and security of our leaders.

As the manhunt for Syrvud intensifies, it has emerged that he has a long history of run-ins with the law. The sheriff's office revealed that Syrvud has outstanding warrants from Wisconsin for DUI, failure to appear for DUI, as well as hit-and-run and felony failure to register as a sex offender in Graham County, Arizona.
