School Photographer Cross a Line

A photographer hired for picture day at Chittum Elementary School in Chesapeake, Virginia, was removed from her duties and subsequently lost her job after making inappropriate comments to students, including asking a child if she could steal his identity and eat his soul.

The school's principal, Bridget Outlaw, confirmed in an email to parents that the photographer was escorted off the premises immediately after the incident was reported. The photographer's employer, Lifetouch, conducted an internal investigation and removed her from all photography duties.

This event has sparked discussions on professionalism and the boundaries of humor in school settings, highlighting the swift actions taken by both the school and Lifetouch to ensure student safety and comfort.
