Trauma: The Truth About What High Schoolers Have Dealt With

The study's depth, involving over 20,000 students, paints a picture of a generation grappling with unseen scars that could predispose them to lifelong health battles, both mental and physical.

To combat this growing concern, strategies suggested by the CDC involve not only direct intervention with affected youth but also addressing the root causes within families and communities.
