Mexican Army Ditches the Humvees

The Mexican Army has initiated a transition from its fleet of Humvees to Ocelot armored vehicles, marking a significant upgrade in its military hardware. The Ocelot, known in some markets as the Foxhound, is a product of General Dynamics Land Systems, originally designed for the British Army. This vehicle offers enhanced protection against modern battlefield threats, particularly explosives, due to its V-shaped hull that deflects blast energy away from the vehicle's occupants.

The decision to replace the Humvees with Ocelots reflects Mexico's intent to modernize its military capabilities, focusing on troop safety and mobility in potentially hostile environments.

This shift comes with Mexico purchasing 340 Ocelot units, underlining a strategic move towards vehicles designed with better survivability in mind, similar to what many Western armies have done in response to lessons learned from recent conflicts. The Ocelot, with its capability to handle rugged terrains and its blast protection, signifies Mexico's adaptation to contemporary warfare needs, where vehicle armor and crew protection are paramount.

The introduction of such advanced equipment into the Mexican military not only enhances its defensive capabilities but also aligns it more closely with international military standards in terms of technology and tactical readiness.

This election year is critical – The Uniparty could help Big Pharma get a huge win, and that could be dangerous for us all.
